Arriving at a new RV park is always a mix of excitement and adjustment. Whether you’re staying with us for one night or longer, how you spend your first few hours can set the tone for the rest of your trip.
Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your first time at our RV park.
- Assess Your Site: Once you find your assigned site, take a minute to walk around before settling in. Getting an idea of where you want to set up your chairs or other items you’ve brought with you, such as your cornhole boards. A few more minutes upfront can make a significant difference in comfort later.
- Take the Time to Properly Set Up: Next, make sure your RV is correctly leveled and hooked up. It may be tempting to rush through setup, especially after a long trip, but taking the time to verify your RV is stable and that all utilities are properly connected will save you headaches down the road.
- Walk Around the RV Park: Once you’re settled in, introduce yourself to your surroundings. A quick trip around the park will familiarize you with important places such as bathrooms, our on-site laundry facilities, dumpsters, and recreational areas. It’s also a terrific way to meet other travelers.
- Make Time to Unwind: When you’re ready, sit back and relax in your chair, grill some food, and enjoy a cool, refreshing drink. Being present in the moment is an important part of the overall RV experience, so be sure to make time to unwind.
